We will be walking as part of a Fresco Tours Kinder Gentler Portugues Camino de Santiago Tour. You can find the full itinerary here and additional details about Fresco Tours here, including what Fresco provides here. Yay, no logistics for us! You’ll be responsible for your plane ticket, local transportation to and from the Camino and any incidentals along the way.
We will meet on May 20, 2025 at 4:00pm WET in Guimaraes, Portugal. So exciting to see that in writing!
We will gather on Zoom before and after our walk:
once in November to celebrate and get to know each other, start setting intentions for your walk, and talk logistics like plane tickets and walking shoes
once a month in February, March, and April to build community, get excited and get ready physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually
three times after we return to celebrate, reflect, and support each other to carry Camino experiences into everyday life
I’ll share more details and resources as plans come together. Thank you for your trust, ideas, questions, and feedback!
During the check out process, you’ll fill out a short form with basic info then go to your cart to enter credit card info and make it official.
Hi, I’m Liz. Walking the Camino changed my life. It brought me back to myself, gave me time and space to listen for my purpose, and inspired my business, Raising Flora. Walking the Camino is one of my happy places. When I returned from the Camino in 2022, a friend said, “oh god, aren’t you glad to be done?!” and I said, “Actually, I loved it. I’d still be on Camino if I could.” It’s a joy and an honor to share this special experience with you.
Professionally, I’m a menstrual health educator and coach. I’m a Red School trained Menstruality Mentor, a certified FEMM teacher, and a seasoned group leader. I love making menstruation and menopause a little less taboo every day. I love teaching about menstrual cycles — from biology and hormones to inner seasons and cyclical self care. I’m warm, down to earth, and you can ask me anything.
I live in Seattle, WA, USA with my husband, who walked the Camino 20 years ago and gave me this bright idea, and our teen daughter. We are a tight knit family who love travel, outdoorsy adventures, and good food.
