Your hormones rise and fall with every menstrual cycle. Your moods, energy levels, strengths and needs also ebb and flow with every cycle. This is in your nature.
What if you knew more about your nature? How and why your body works the way it does? More about your unique cycle and how it impacts your life?
And then, what if you knew how to cooperate with your cycle? How to live in harmony with your hormones? So you could lower your stress and heal your pain; show up rested and ready for all you want to be and do and serve in the world; love and support yourself through perimenopause; strengthen your mother — teen daughter relationship.
How good would it feel to nurture your nature? So good.
Discover your best tools for taking care of your health and wellbeing in 3 simple steps:
1.
LISTEN
get to know your unique menstrual cycle and how it impacts your life
2.
RESPOND

3.
REPEAT

First, listen
Part science and part art: How are you? What is your body telling you? Get to know your unique menstrual cycle and how it impacts your life — the rise and fall of your hormones, the ebb and flow of your moods, energy levels, strengths and challenges.
learn how and why your body works the way it does — anatomy, hormones, inner seasons
learn how to observe and track your vital signs and key biomarkers on paper and in a secure app
learn your inner ecology, tune in to how you move through the inner seasons each cycle
read your cycle patterns — you’ll start to see them emerge after just three months
get (re)connected to yourself — this is especially helpful if you’ve lost yourself in the midst of parenting, working, putting dinner on the table, all the things
collect the information you need to share with your health care provider
get started right now with a Cycle Day Check-in
Next, respond
Learn how to support your health and wellbeing through all four phases of your cycle.
learn tools for taking care of yourself as your hormones rise and fall, throughout your inner seasons
make small shifts that are free to implement
lower your stress and regulate your nervous system
soothe your menstrual cycle symptoms and gain confidence to address them
get a referral to a cycle trained provider if you need one
respond to your nature to build trust with yourself and your body
claim your power to live with your cycle and to show up as you are each day
Then, repeat
Once you know your unique cycle and how to respond, you can repeat each month, using simple tools to nurture your nature, practicing what makes sense and feels good to you.

“…what I actually got was a whole new way of thinking…”
— Kim
“The main thing I grew up hearing about is PMS, bitchy moods, cramps, not opportunities for increased creativity or honoring the need for rest. Raising Flora classes offered a fuller perspective, both philosophical and practical.”
— Tracy
“Working with Liz has been an eye AND heart opening experience…”
— Sadie
“Thank you so much, Liz! You really helped me talk through what the tasks are that I need to work through emotionally for myself. And I really appreciate your openness and empathy.”

This gives us time to for your to listen to your body, observe your biomarkers, and see your unique cycle patterns emerge. It also gives time for you to learn what you need and how to take care of yourself. If you want to keep working together after the four months, we can. Read 5 Reasons to Track Your Cycle

I teach you how to use both paper charts and an app. You can do both or choose just one. The app I recommend will never share, harvest, use or sell your data.
-
I will send the class recording so you can watch whenever works best for you. Many women choose to participate this way.
-
While I am qualified to teach you to observe and track your biomarkers to achieve or avoid pregnancy, that’s not my area of expertise. I am happy to refer you to someone whose specialty is fertility or nonhormonal birth control methods. Working with women in midlife and girls just starting their cycles - perimenopause and puberty - is my passion and expertise.
-
Yes! Nurture Your Nature will be especially helpful If you’re in perimenopause because it will help you connect with yourself, soothe your symptoms, and get ready for menopause.

Maybe! What a gift to give your daughter these lessons and resources early in her cycling years. The class is designed with adults in mind so it might work well for an older teen or college student. You know your daughter best and whether she is ready to participate in class and coaching. Maybe if you want to do it together?

I’m so sorry if you’re experiencing period pain or other cyclical discomforts. While this is common, it’s not normal. Read: Periods Aren’t Painful By Design
I can help you address your challenges by observing your biomarkers, symptoms and experiences; understanding what your cycle pattern is telling you; making shifts to reduce stress and increase well-being; collecting the information you need to share with your doctor; and connecting you with a cycle trained health care provider if needed.

“One thing I know for sure is this: understanding and supporting your menstrual cycle is the best tool for taking care of your health and well being.”
Hi, I’m Liz
I’m a menstrual health educator and coach. I’m warm, down to earth, and here to help — you can ask me anything.
I’m a certified menstrual health teacher, a trained Menstruality Mentor and mom to a 13 year old daughter. I’m so grateful for my teachers and mentors at The Red School and FEMM as well as my own cycle awareness and parenting journeys which shaped who I am and how I do everything at Raising Flora.
The more I learn about our cycles — from biology and hormones to inner seasons and cyclical self care — the more I want to share.
