Has your daughter been replaced by an alien? 👽

Do you ever feel like your daughter’s suddenly been replaced by an alien? Like, who are you and what have you done with my kid?!

Or you’re not quite sure which version of your tween is joining you for dinner?

I have a 13 year old daughter and I’m struck by how familiar our dance is these days because it’s a lot like her toddler years:

I do it myself. (stomps foot) Help me, Mama! Why? Why not? Come snuggle me.

is now

Mom, I’ve got this, I’m almost 14. (rolls eyes) Wait, how do I do this? I’d rather be with my friends. I miss you, let’s hang out.

Does this ring true for you too?

Like the toddler years, the tween and early teen years bring lots of changes — some dramatic, some gradual — for them and for you. That’s why in every Raising Flora class I offer practical information and concrete solutions as well as helpful mindsets and creative suggestions.

I’m especially excited about teaching Getting Ready for Periods because you’ll be better prepared for your tween’s first periods and you’ll be ready to show up with heart and humor as you navigate big puberty changes.
